The Role
The Solution Owner sits at the intersection of the client and the technical team. You translate business goals into clear requirements, run agile delivery, and ensure every sprint produces something the client cares about. This isn't a pure PM role — you'll be expected to understand the platform deeply, push back on bad requirements, and escalate technical risks before they become excuses.
What You'll Do
- Own the client relationship day-to-day on your engagements — setting expectations, communicating status, and managing scope
- Lead sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives for your delivery team
- Write and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria that developers can actually build from
- Translate business processes into Salesforce configuration and development requirements
- Identify and escalate scope creep, dependency conflicts, and delivery risks early
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business stakeholders at all levels
- Work alongside Solution Architects to validate that the technical approach matches business intent
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a project management, consulting, or business analyst role
- 3–5 years of Salesforce administration or configuration experience
- Salesforce Administrator certified (required)
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and navigate difficult conversations professionally
- Experience running agile delivery in a consulting or agency context
- Strong written communication — you write requirements and status updates that people actually read
